I just received a call to please ask for prayer for Phyllis Butler. Phyllis is at City Hospital with a broken hip. She is awaiting Dr. Cincinnati's arrival to see how they are going to proceed with repairing her hip.

Tom Didominico works with me at the ATF and has visited our church in the past. Tom is a retired MP in the Army and served in Iraq. One of Tom's very close friends, Dick Alson Lee Jr., whom he served with in Iraq was killed in action on Friday in Afghanastan. He had two young boys and wife at home. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers as they try to feel with this tragedy.

Hello all -

    I am writing to encourage you to attend the services this week on Thursday and Friday evenings....7pm.

    On Thursday, we will be remembering the Passover meal that Christ shared with his apostles and the agonizing time he spent in the Garden of Gethsemane preparing himself for what was ahead. Communion is shared in a unique way....we only do this on Holy Thursday: You will be invited to come and nail the bread onto a cross and then later come forward to tear a piece and dip into the cup. Dan Turner will be singing as well as our pastor.

    Friday's service centers around the 7 sayings from the cross. Readings will be shared that speak to a suffering world; offering hope and insight. Candles will be extinguished as we move through the service...until we are sitting in darkness; a sign of Christ's time in the tomb.

    The glory of Easter morning is magnified when prefaced by the Holy Thursday, Good Friday services. Come, prepare your heart for the glorious resurrection!

Hi church family. I am sending this email in hopes of getting more interest in the Hershey Park tickets. We do NOT have to go as a group. The tickets are valid any day from May 4-September 30. The cost is $30.75 (ages 9-54), $26.50 (ages 3-8 and 55-69), $21.00 (ages 70+), and FREE (ages 2 and under).

There is also a deal for the evening before your park entrance. If you arrive the night before with your full day ticket and you can be their guest FREE the remainder of the evening (which is on average an extra 2 1/2 hours). And if you pay to park the evening before then the next day's parking is FREE!!!

And they now have a waterpark there as well that is there in the park.....so enjoy 2 parks for the price of one!!!!!

I have to have at least 20 people interested in the tickets in order to get the group rate. The money will will be due to me next Sunday (Easter). It will take around 3 weeks for delivery of the tickets. Please consider this great deal (almost half off the adult price ticket)!!!! Dear friends, Many of you are excited about tonights ball game which starts shortly after 7pm. If "Chocolat" has taught us anything, it is that life is meant to be savored! So, after our meal this evening we will gather for some prayer and dismiss in time for everyone to enjoy the tip off.

No Lenten study tonight - so grab your covered dish and come on out. See you at 6 for dinner.
