A friend of mine, Ray Hedrick, helps teach CPR and other life support classes with me at City Hospital. He is a paramedic down in Fort Meade. I learned today that he had a freak sort of accident and sustained a fractured skull and broken hip. He had been on the ventilator in drug induced coma to heal the head injury. It was then the hip fracture was discovered and he underwent a hip replacement this past week. Reports say he has regained consciousness without memory impairment which is prayers answered.

Please keep Ray in your prayers for continued healing and a safe return home to his family.
